This comprehensive Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) and Sea (IMDG) training course is designed for personnel involved in the preparation, packing, handling, documentation, transport, and management of dangerous goods shipments.
Delivered by an experienced Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA), the course provides delegates with a practical understanding of the legal requirements for transporting dangerous goods by road and sea, helping organisations remain compliant whilst reducing operational risk.
Delegates will learn:
• Classification of dangerous goods and packing groups• Use of the Dangerous Goods List and transport regulations• Packaging requirements and packaging approvals• Marking, labelling and placarding requirements• Transport documentation and shipper responsibilities• Limited Quantities (LQ) and Excepted Quantities (EQ) provisions• Vehicle and container requirements• Segregation and stowage principles• Emergency response and incident reporting requirements• Responsibilities of consignors, carriers, freight forwarders and other duty holders
