Course Overview
Our Battery Dangerous Goods training is designed for anyone involved in the preparation, handling or transport of batteries by air, road or sea.
The training covers a range of battery types and chemistries, including lithium-ion, lithium metal, sodium-ion, lead-acid, nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) and alkaline batteries.
Delegates develop a practical understanding of classification, UN numbers, packaging, marking and labelling, documentation and the requirements that apply depending on battery type, configuration and mode of transport. Delivered by an experienced Dangerous Goods trainer, qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) and CAA Dangerous Goods Technical Instructor, the training focuses on applying the relevant requirements confidently to real-world battery shipments.
