1. Our Commitment

Kim Hazzard Ltd is committed to conducting business responsibly, ethically and with integrity.

We support the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour and exploitation within our business and the organisations we choose to work with.

Kim Hazzard Ltd does not currently meet the turnover threshold requiring publication of an annual slavery and human trafficking statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We have chosen to publish this statement voluntarily as part of our commitment to responsible business practices.

2. Our Business and Supply Chain

Kim Hazzard Ltd is a UK-based provider of dangerous goods training, consultancy and Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) services.

As a professional services business, our supply chain is relatively limited and primarily consists of venues and accommodation providers, training and certification providers, professional services, technology providers, office and training materials, and other suppliers used in the delivery of our services.

Where we engage suppliers, contractors or other service providers, we expect them to operate lawfully, ethically and with respect for fundamental human rights.

We recognise that modern slavery risks can exist within supply chains regardless of the size of an organisation, and we aim to make proportionate and responsible purchasing and supplier decisions.

3. Our Approach to Suppliers and Due Diligence

Kim Hazzard Ltd aims to work with reputable suppliers, contractors and business partners and considers ethical business practices when establishing and maintaining business relationships.

Where appropriate and proportionate to the nature of the supplier or service, we may consider information provided by suppliers regarding their employment practices, ethical standards or approach to modern slavery.

If we became aware of credible concerns relating to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour or exploitation within a supplier or business relationship, we would investigate the matter and consider appropriate action. This may include seeking further information, requiring corrective action or, where necessary, ending the business relationship.

We will continue to review our approach as the business and our supply chain develop.

Kim Hazzard Ltd encourages anyone who has a genuine concern about modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour or exploitation connected with our business or supply chain to raise it with us.

Any concern raised will be taken seriously and considered appropriately. Where necessary, we will seek further information and take appropriate action.

5. Our Responsibility and Awareness

Responsibility for maintaining this statement and KHL’s approach to ethical business practices rests with the management of Kim Hazzard Ltd.

We aim to remain aware of modern slavery risks relevant to our business and supply chain and will review our practices where circumstances change or new risks are identified.

As the business develops, we will consider whether additional measures, guidance or training are appropriate and proportionate to the risks identified.

This statement will be reviewed periodically and updated where necessary to reflect changes in our business, supply chain or relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
