About
Battery shipments are subject to strict global regulations, and non‑compliance can lead to delays, fines, and safety risks. This two‑day instructor‑led course gives delegates a complete understanding of the rules for transporting lithium‑ion, lithium‑metal, and sodium batteries across all modes — Air (IATA), Road (ADR), and Sea (IMDG). Through practical demonstrations and scenario‑based learning, participants will gain the skills to correctly identify battery types, select compliant packaging, apply the correct marks and labels, complete documentation, and avoid common errors. By the end of the course, delegates will be equipped to ship batteries safely, confidently, and in full regulatory compliance. This course is delivered by Kim Hazzard Ltd using licensed Cargo Training International training materials, with certification issued by Cargo Training International.
